So some of the guys at work were talking during a lull in work today, Mathew said as he took a bite of his sandwich. And we got to talking about that serial killer, seeing as nothing that happens around here seems to measure up in sure mysterious and fucked up-ness.
Of course, Amy murmured. Not like there are any crimes for you detectives to investigate or anything like that.
Mathew grinned. And its not like you have any criminals to try, what with all the extra curricular activities youre engaging in on work hours.

Youre thirty-four years old. You cant eat like a teenager. Youre going to give yourself a heart attack one of these days eating like you do.
Amy popped another onion ring into her mouth and smiled at her dad. Then Ill die happy, she replied as she swallowed the mouthful and began to slather ketchup onto her cheeseburger.
And in pain, and out of shape, and gasping for air as your heart implodes.
That too. Amy agreed as she took a bite of her burger. But its not like Im not already partway there. Mathew

This kid better not be bullshitting with us, Damien murmured under his breath as they stood in the elevator, watching the light move slowly up the numbers above the door.
I dont think he would be, Sinh said, watching Damien out of the corner of his eye, taking in the dark circles from lack of sleep and the scruff across his jaw. Especially not after the FBI came and picked him up.
Yeah, if he was messing around that probably would have been the time to mention it, Damien smiled, giving Sinh an amused look. Still, he is a
Amy. Look at me. Please, look at me. I we were worried.
The words distant, heard through a fog of memories, Amy slowly raised her eyes from the shadows on the carpet, meeting her brothers anxious gaze. She stared for a moment, uncomprehending, trying to pull the words that were falling from his lips into a coherent sentence.
Please, Amy, Alex begged, kneeling in front of her as she sat curled up in her favorite chair, a blanket neatly tucked around her body. Were so worried. Please just do something. Tell us what happened. You wont talk to the counselor,

Joscelin arched his back and gasped. Lips trailed down his neck, across his collarbone, teeth nipping at his chest before latching onto his nipple. Jos let out a low moan, digging his hands into hair, holding the naked body stroking and kissing him against his own bare skin.
Jos groaned and tightened his hold, forcing himself to shove the other male away and flip him onto his back. Jos straddled his narrow waist, trailing his hands across the tight abs and smooth pecs below him before leaning down, eyes trained on the other male's lips.
Moaning slightly, Jos relaxed against the other male, flicking his tongue against his
"You OK, baby?" Chris slurred out, barely conscious. He lifted his head, green eyes glazed with sleep, brown hair spiked and disheveled.
Alexandra slowly turned her head, barely meeting Chris's eyes before dropping her gaze down, fiddling with the ice pack in her lap. "Yeah Chris," she whispered, wincing as her swollen lips protested. "Go back to sleep. I'm fine."
"Kay, Lexi," Chris sighed, slinging an arm around her waist and dropping swiftly back into sleep. Alex stared down, expressionless, at her boyfriend's relaxed form and gently prodded the bruise his fist had given her, a frown wrinkling her brows as she thought of the
Erik stood in the shadows, as much as he was able to in the blaze of neon signs, anonymous, face hidden under the deep hood of his sweatshirt, eyes covered by dark glasses. He scanned the crowd, body wired tight as he searched for that familiar shock of pink hair. He shifted, uncomfortable with the gnawing need that was rippling down his spine, making it harder and harder to concentrate, his body trembling on the verge of loosing control.
Sinking his teeth in his cheek, Erik let the sharp tang of blood center him, pull his awareness back to finding her. His eyes darted anxiously around the busy food court as he looked for her, making sure th

Amy had been conscious long enough to take stock of the situation and realize she was in deep trouble. She was aware enough to feign unconsciousness, remembered enough to know that she didnt want to let on that she could understand what was happening around her.
But that didnt help one bit when her body began to scream at her to run, to jerk away, to get herself away from the fingers gently running over her arm because she knew what was going to come next.
Amy trembled as ice slid across her overheated skin, slow and deliberate, tracing the lines of her collarbone. She fought to sta

The sun was disappearing. The pure white blaze was slowly being hemmed in by a wash of bruised color, boiling and rolling ever closer, reflecting the ground below.
A last stand, not even begun and already lost. Better that they had fled with the rest, the wind whispered, protected those who hadn't been able to protect themselves. Too late now. They were the last, all that was left of a proud and fierce people. Ragged and abused but…defiant.

Hey guys
I dont really check in on my DA account much anymore, but I'm just going to repost this because it looks like a lot of people missed/are missing the first one
As far as I know, all of the edited/random missing Ch 9 can be found here: http://www.ficwad.com/story/132460
You might need to register to be able to see most of the chapter because of the rampant sex that is included, but chapters 1-10 and 42 are up in unedited form on that website.
Thanks for all the comments everyone, I'm still so flattered by how much everyone has enjoyed this story. You guys are the best :-)
Hey Peoples!
Finally, it has happened! The first ten chapters of Acceptance as well as the much-edited Chapter 42 are now free for all to view on the interwebs. Here is the link to them, over at FicWad (interesting name...): http://www.ficwad.com/story/132460
I will be getting the other chapters up as time permits. Sorry it took so long to get these chapters up. School kind of got in the way...
...Speaking of school...guess who got into college! I am going to Haverford College! I am so excited!
So that is my news for the day, let me know if you have any questions about the alternate site or if anything goes wonky over there. Also, a huge
Hey peoples
After rather ineffectually scouring the internet for alternate sites to put the edited portions of Acceptance up at, I though I would pose the question to you guys.
What sites do you know would allow me to host Acceptance at, so I could link to them when chapters get edited?
I checked out FanFiction.net, but seeing as Acceptance isnt a facfiction that doesnt seem the place. Is LiveJournal a possibility? I am never quite sure how to use the site (I never try hard, either), so I'm not sure if it is what we are looking for.
Anyone have ideas?
Hey there! We used to be friends when I was on my other account () I was just wondering how you've been? Though if you don't check here very often, there might be no point to posting this. But oh well
Is there ever going to be any chance of any follow up to Acceptance, i kinda wanted more about Jerry and Ms.Elna, i wanna know what happens when they go to college!! ahhhh want moreeeeeee
Its always a possibility, there are definitely places to go with all those random secondary characters and subplots that I fleshed out during Acceptance. I probably wouldn't write about Dev and Jos anymore, though, except as secondary characters in someone else's story.
I would also have to find the time to write again, which can be hard when I just have so much to read lol
